My Little 10 Monther!

Wait, what?! 10 months? Can't even get over that. You are crawling! Crawling like a soldier, maybe but still! You are so determined to travel across a room and when I find you in a new spot you get so excited, kicking and screaming. You point at everything and say "dat"? You really surprised Mama when you started pulling yourself up into a standing

 position in your crib. 

1st Mother's Day!

I completely understand now when people say their life didn't really begin until they became a mother. Life certainly isn't perfect, but there are moments when it can be and motherhood has proven that to me.  I live for your smiles, your sweet voice, and your little pointer finger you point at anything and everything lately.  Thanks for the moments that somehow simultaneously melt my heart AND make it burst out of my chest... That's a mother's love, I guess.

I can't even put into words how much I adore this little face. I have a feeling that even when you are a grown man, I will still see you as this sweet, grinning 10 month old baby boy. You know exactly how to make your Mama's soul sing with joy.

My Little 9 Monther

Okay little buddy- you weigh in at 19lbs 6oz. And you are 29 inches tall. You are saying mama all the time! Yippee! You also say uh-oh non stop and you love dropping things from your high chair just to be able to say it. It's fun. You also started feeding Tommy food from your high chair which is a big dilemma bc you have so much fun giving him your cracker, but then when you realize he ate it you start crying. :) You also wave hi and bye bye, clap, and dance on command now. You also make a vroom sound when you play with your toy cars. These things never get old! You have figured out how to crawl backwards and around in a circle, but not quite forward yet. You have two favorite books I have to read you every night or else you get really mad... Count to Ten with a Mouse and Touch Mona Lisa's Hair. On the last page of this book is a copy of Raphaelo's cherubs and they have real feathers for wings. We touch them and blow on them to make them move and you might have the cutest blowing sound I've ever heard in my life. It's too much. Can't believe you will be blowing out your first birthday candle in 3 months!!! We love you so so so so much Wyatt.
