19 weeks

Sorry for the creepy excited smiles.  I have been feeling great lately...occasional nausea around 9pm, but nothing bad!  I've finally been able to eat more, but still only have about half the appetite I used to have before pregnancy.  Counting down the hours till we get to see you at our ultrasound Monday night.  Craving more tomato-y based things- spaghetti sauce, pizza, salsa.  Oh, and rootbeer. :) Still can't get enough oranges/orange juice too.  Sleeping is getting a little more difficult- I kind of toss and turn all night long.  Mostly I'm just so excited thinking about you- as you can see from the creepy excited smiles!  Was listening to a cd this week on my way to work that I used to listen to obsessively in high school (Lauryn Hill, too funny) and for some reason it made me cry- still got the emotions running at an all time high!

18 Weeks

Woo hoo, baby! We finally gained some weight.  3 LBS to be exact. :)  Never thought I'd be in the situation of wanting to gain more weight... Finally caved in and bought some maternity jeans and tops.  I've been feeling good lately, but I've been getting pretty sick right around dinner time still.  Still have a major sweet tooth.  We got to hear your heartbeat and Dr. says it sounds great!  We were so excited to find out that we go back in 2 weeks to find out what you are- girl or boy?????  Here's hoping you will cooperate and show us. ;)  I'm still convinced you are a boy so far.  Can't wait to find out!

17 Weeks

Feeling so great this week!  Told the kids at work and it is so fun hearing what they have to say... I've been getting a lot of "Are you married?" and  "Are you having a boy or girl?".  The students (and other teachers) have really shared their excitement with me, which makes me even MORE excited!  I had a little first grade girl tell me matter-of-factly today- "Mrs. Thomas, you know once your baby comes out, then you will be a MOM!!!"  I think she thought I wasn't aware of that... :) They are too fun. Makes me love every minute of being a teacher...

16 Weeks

Happy New Year! What an exciting year 2012 will be!!!  I'm finally starting to look like a pregnant lady, and I think I might have felt some movement this week.  Still a little sick at night, every once in a while, but for the most part I'm finally starting to get my appetite back. :)  I'm getting more and more impatient waiting to find out if you are a boy or girl...just about a month to go till we can find out!
