Look Back...first 2 trimesters

Shower Invites :)

Here is the invitation mama spent FOREVER designing for you little Wyatt!  Don't know what it is about lions, but they have been my theme for you for your room and now your invitation.  Maybe because your daddy and I are both Leos. :)  Anyways, I am soooooooo excited for our baby shower. Grama and Aunt Jessica are throwing it for us and it will be so much fun opening all of your new things, surrounded by all of the people who will LOVE you so much!

27 Weeks

It's getting pretty real.  Lately I've been having some pretty scary dreams- I think I'm getting anxious about everything from labor to not feeling 100% prepared, etc. I've heard this is totally normal! :)  You are kicking like crazy, mostly at night when I'm trying to fall asleep.  But I don't mind!  I think I'm going to miss those kicks once you are here.  Major progress has been made on your room, but I still have a lot of little details to add to make it awesome for my little guy! We passed the glucose test and I'm so happy about that- I still have a major sweet tooth and I'm guessing you will too. I'm starting to wonder more and more who you will look like...I hope you get the best traits from both your mama and daddy!  So happy to be entering the last trimester- home stretch!!!!!

25 & 26 Weeks

{26 weeks}

Starting to feel very large lately.  The Spring weather has been so amazing and just makes me so excited for summer to come...and we're getting closer and closer to YOUR birthday!  We've been making lots of progress on the nursery and your crib came this week.  Your kicks and jabs are getting stronger and stronger, and I can't help but laugh sometimes when I see my stomach moving around now. :) You are one very active little boy!

P.S. here are just a few things that have made me cry lately:

                                                -A dad teaching his son how to ride his bike in our neighborhood

                                                -The Voice (tv show)

                                                -Drawings from my art students with families in it

                                                -Sitting in your room all the time imagining you in it

Nursery UPDATE!

 I just can't seem to make up my mind about your room, little guy!  I thought I had it all figured out, until I came across these new darker paint colors! Hmmm...hopefully one day I will be looking back and laughing at how indecisive I was when planning it all...until then, I'm kind of driving myself crazy... :)

23 Weeks

Little Baby Wyatt- we have finalized your name!  (Daddy took a while to come around...)  You are getting bigger and stronger and I can feel you moving around all the time.  What are you doing in there?  I hope you are getting comfy.  I am feeling so so great lately- can't complain about a thing!  Love me some strawberries- can pretty much eat a whole carton in about 10 minutes.  They taste like I am eating them for the first time! Daddy bought you a really expensive basketball hoop for our driveway- I think he is a little nuts- but also very cute that he's getting more and more excited for you to arrive.
